Maintenance Assistant

• Location: Keldy (North Yorkshire)
• Salary: £12.21 per hour
• Working Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week.
• Days of Work: 2 week rolling rota. Week 1: Monday to Friday (Weekend off) / Week 2: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat and Sun (Wed and Thurs off)
• Live-in only position with on-site accommodation available at a discounted monthly rent (£140 pcm including all utilities, wifi and onsite parking in a modest flat).

We have an exciting opportunity for an Maintenance Assistant to join our Keldy team! This is a live-in only position, with on-site accommodation provided. (Including all utilities, available for a nominal monthly rent, resulting in approximately £10,000 annual savings).

About the Operations Assistant role:

Open all year round, our Operations Assistant plays a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience. Key responsibilities include:

• ➡️ Ensuring hot tubs are in perfect working order every day for our guests.
• ➡️ Completing general maintenance tasks, including using tools, fixing machinery, and decorating (basic knowledge desirable).
• ➡️ Paying attention to the little details and delivering daily tasks in a timely and competent manner.
• ➡️ Taking pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
• ➡️ Following brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin.

Live-in Accommodation with this position - Including all utilities, available for a nominal monthly rent, resulting in approximately £10,000 annual savings.

What Are We Looking For?

Our ideal Operations Assistant will be a dynamic individual who applies a can-do attitude to solve any issues that may arise on location. You will be a team player, capable of building good working relationships with colleagues. A love for the outdoors is essential as these tasks need completing rain or shine every day of the year.

We’re looking for someone with:

• ✅ A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
• ✅ The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• ✅ Great attention to detail, ensuring high cleanliness standards are met.
• ✅ Some previous experience in a similar role.
• ✅ A willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather.
• ✅ A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
• ✅ A full clean UK driving license is essential.

Pay Rates for Aged 16 and 17:

• 16 years: £7.55 per hour
• 17 years: £10.00 per hour
