• Location: Thorpe Forest (Norfolk)
• Salary: £12.21 per hour
• Working Hours: Part time, 30 hours per week.
• Days of Work: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, plus every other weekend.
• Transport: Please note that our location is not accessible by public transport. Therefore, a valid driving licence and access to a car, or another reliable means of transport, are essential for this role.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Assistant  to join our Thorpe Forest team! Be a part of making special escapes in one of the UK’s most peaceful forest locations, developing your skills while ensuring our cabins are beautifully prepared for every guest. Our cabins offer a natural escape beside the banks of the River Thet, close to where the Norfolk and Suffolk borders meet. Choose a cabin beneath the tranquil canopy of the forest or opt for a more open aspect in the picturesque woodland glade.

About the Operations Assistant role:

Open all year round, our Operations Assistant plays a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience. Key responsibilities include:

• ➡️ Ensuring hot tubs are in perfect working order every day for our guests
• ➡️ Monitoring and recording water quality, and supporting with safe chemical adjustments
• ➡️ Completing general maintenance tasks, including using tools, fixing machinery and decorating (basic knowledge desirable)
• ➡️ Carrying out basic equipment checks and minor repairs, and reporting issues promptly
• ➡️ Delivering daily tasks efficiently and to a high standard
• ➡️ Providing friendly, professional customer service and supporting our Forest Feeling brand standards

What Are We Looking For?

Our ideal Operations Assistant will be a dynamic individual who applies a can-do attitude to solve any issues that may arise on location. You will be a team player, capable of building good working relationships with colleagues. A love for the outdoors is essential as these tasks need completing rain or shine every day of the year.

We’re looking for someone with:

• ✅ A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic
• ✅ Great attention to detail to maintain high standards
• ✅ The ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly
• ✅ Previous experience in a similar role
• ✅ A full UK driving licence
• ✅ A willingness to work outdoors in all weather
